Biola Alabi is a media expert, listed as a Young Global Leader in 2012. Alabi studied Public Health and Marketing at the University of Cincinnati. Before taking a position at the electronic media network M-Net, she had worked in the Corporate Sponsorship and Educational strategy unit of the non-profit educational organization behind the popular TV series, Sesame Street. She had also worked with Daewoo Motors and Bigwords.com.
As Managing Director of M-Net, Alabi supervised the launch of AfricaMagic Yoruba, Hausa and Swahili Channels, thereby making significant contribution to the supply of local content in entertainment.
