Sacred Heart Apapa is a missionary secondary school owned by the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos. The school was reportedly founded in 2007 to salvage in microsm, the falling education standard in Nigeria. Sacred Heart College in Apapa is co-educational and there is a boarding option. The school, being a creation of modern times, have made some introductions into schooling system that used to be exclusive preserves of private secondary schools, such as the internalization of curriculum and the so called “pastoral care”.
