West African country with the largest black population on earth 218.5 million (2022), and one of the largest economy in Africa 472.6 billion USD (2022). Nigeria, with an area covering 356,668 sq miles (923,7770 sq kilometers) is situated within longitudes 3 degrees and 14 degrees and latitudes 4 degrees and 140 degrees. The population composed of Hausa, Yoruba, and Ibo ethnicities also have Fulani, Kanuri, Ijaw, Ibibio, Benin, and other groups numbering up to 250, and some 400 languages are spoken. About 50% adhere to the Muslim faith while 46% are Christian and the rest shared among traditional as well as oriental religions.

The two UNESCO World Heritage Site in Nigeria, which doubles as the most popular tourism brands outside Nigeria, recognisable and visited by tourists worldwide are the Sukur Cultural Landscape in Adamawa State and Osun Grove, which is the only remaining sacred site of its size and biodiversity in Nigeria’s south-west region.
Nollywood; is the often criticized but common expression for the Nigerian film industry. Nigerian movies are seen as the pivot of a developing African film industry and the cultural mainstay of Africans in the continent and the Diaspora.
